This hunting axe has a 5-1/4" wide head with a 3" long edge on one side, and a sharp hammer on the other. It has a black and gray Micarta handle with two decorative narrow red strips. The rear end of the handle has a steel butt with a lanyard hole and a glass breaker.
This axe is the tool of choice for rescue, camping and hunting activities.

Blade made of Molybdenum Vanadium MV-58 stainless steel. Axe's total length is 13-1/2". It has 58 RC hardness, which ensures a long lasting sharpness. Item weighs 22.0 oz. Handle is made of Micarta, a multilayered material that includes epoxy resin and linen fabric, which is very durable.
Axe is dishwasher safe, however, for lasting sharpness, drying with a soft cloth immediately after machine or hand-washing is recommended.
